Airlines TajAir adds another Falcon 2000 to fleet Our Bureau
Mumbai , April 13 TAJAIR, the executive jet service from Taj Hotels, Resorts and Palaces, has announced the inclusion of another Falcon 2000 jet to its fleet. According to an official statement, the Falcon 2000, designed by Dassault Aviation of France, combines luxury and high efficiency. The wide body cabin ensures that passengers are not disturbed by sounds of the engine, even at speeds up to 0.8 Mach, which is nearly 80 per cent of the speed of sound. With a range of 5,555 km, the Falcon 2000 enables undisturbed travel across continents. It comes equipped with a Satellite Telephone System and Fax System to keep passengers connected with the outside world at all times. The statement added that the twin engine aircraft, which is equipped to fly 8 passengers, is a preferred choice of transport with corporate houses, business travellers, individual high-end leisure travellers and charter companies across the globe. TajAir offers travellers the benefit of flexible travel dates, private departure and arrival terminals, direct access to destinations normally inaccessible on conventional routes and increased security and privacy. It also takes charge of details such as airport formalities, baggage handling and airport transfers. Each trip is priced on the basis of the flying time and waiting period. Every hour on board TajAir is priced at Rs 1,90,000. Positioned as an ideal mode of transport for business trips, site visits and family vacations, TajAir flies to any destination within a radius of five and a half flying hours within India and abroad, without refuelling. TajAir also flies to all international destinations with jet landing facilities, with fuelling stops. Announcing the launch of the new jet, Mr Sanjay Bahadur, COO, TajAir, said, "The TajAir executive jet service has had an encouraging response and we believe that it has potential for growth. The addition of another jet will allow us to cater to this demand and ensure that every flight aboard TajAir is an enjoyable, luxurious experience." The Taj culinary experience has been brought aboard TajAir. On offer is a wide choice ranging from five-course meals to Indian and international delicacies.
