Arabal 2004 meet to focus on growth plan

THE 11th International Arab Aluminium Conference known as Arabal 2004, under the patronage of Bahrain's Prime Minister, Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, is being held at Bahrain during April 19-21.

Over 600 delegates world over are expected to attend the conference. Fourteen key speakers will provide presentations focusing on varying topics such as global Growth and strategy, power generation marketing trends for industry, downstream products and expansion, and many more topics following the conference theme `Critical Issues, Global Trends and Drivers.'

One of the world's leading aluminium executives, Mr Alain Belda, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Aluminium Company of America (Alcoa), will be the keynote speaker at the 11th International Arab Aluminium Conference.

"One of the highlights of the Arabal 2004 conference will be the unique "e" Exhibition where 25 exclusive industry leaders will exhibit their products and services through interactive media.

Also delegates will have a unique opportunity to visit aluminium units of Alba, Garmco, Middle Cables, Aluwhal and Balexco, Bahrain Atomizers International etc.," said Mr S.P. Shorewala, co-ordinator of Arabal 2004 and former president of Indian Non-ferrous Metals Manufacturer's Association.
