Osmania Hospital gets immune count machine for AIDS

HYDERABAD: Mr M.K. Patodia, Vice-Chairman of CII (AP), inaugurated a CD4/CD8 count machine at the Osmania General Hospital here on Thursday.

The machine helps find the state of immune system in people afflicted with HIV/AIDS. "This will be of great help for those on anti-retroviral (ARV) drugs," a Confederation of Indian Industry (CII-AP) press release said.

"The CII has joined hands with Governments of Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Karnataka and Nagaland in making testing and tracking facilities available for HIV/AIDS patients," it added.
