PSL completes IOC project before schedule

Our Bureau

Mumbai , April 18

STEEL pipe manufacturer PSL Ltd said it had completed the Rs 122.85-crore pipeline project for Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOC) in nine months, ahead of the scheduled duration of 12 months.

PSL finished the manufacture and supply of API pipes for the 519-km Panipat Refinery Expansion Pipeline Project in compliance with IOC's specifications under the supervision of M/S Germanisher Lloyd (the third party inspection agency) for the project, which was the longest pipeline order placed by an Oil & Gas Co from an Indian vendor in the past few years.

The completion of the project ahead of schedule has enabled IOC to commission the pipeline ahead of schedule and improve project economics.
