Announcements Variety - Hotels `Round the Corner' cuisine offers Kerala, Chettinad delicacies Our Bureau
Hyderabad , April 18 A DIVISION of First Venture Hospitality Services, "Round the Corner", has opened a multi-floor unique cuisine court in Hyderabad here on Saturday, claiming it to be an ethnic and yet contemporary and modern place to "eat, unwind and enjoy". Addressing newspersons, one of its promoters, Mr Aravind R. Babu, said the project in the posh Jubilee Hills area would now become an address for not just cuisine alone, but also for wholesome food, pleasure and entertainment. The cuisine court is distinctly different in its menu, uniforms, crockery, cutlery and ambience in each of its three restaurants - Conversations, Backwaters and Home & Away. Housed on the ground floor, Conversations, is positioned as a hangout that offers ice-cream bar besides several mouth-watering delicacies. According to Mr Babu, this chill-out zone has interiors done up in bright and bold colours. Replicating God's Own Country much to the delight of its visitors is Backwaters, a speciality restaurant serving authentic Kerala and Chettinad delicacies. Located on the first floor, it projects a miniature Kerala, in its cuisine and ambience. The seatings are traditional and the walls are decked up with old and traditional objects, handicrafts, metal lamps typical of Kerala's culture and heritage. "It will be a welcome treat not only to over five-lakh Keralites who live in Hyderabad, but also those who are fond of native delicacies of Kerala," Mr Babu said. Sharing first floor with Backwaters is Home & Away, a multi-cuisine experience serving Indian, Italian, Chinese, Continental and other varieties. With years of combined experience in the food and beverage industry in the country and abroad, the promoters have come forward with a yet another unique proposition - combining cuisine court with a rejuvenation centre for mind, body and soul. Set up in association with Dhanwanthari Vaidyasala, a trusted name in Kerala Ayurveda for the past seven decades, promises to provide total Kerala Ayurveda rejuvenation therapies and experience, Mr Aravind Babu said.
