Industry Associations Kamineni is CII South chairperson Our Bureau
HYDERABAD: Ms Shobana Kamineni, KEI Group - Apollo Hospitals Enterprises Ltd has been elected as Chairperson of the CII-Southern Region for the year 2004-05. Ms Kamineni has the distinction of being the first Woman CEO to head the apex association in South. Ms Kamineni is an active member of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and was the Chairperson of CII - Andhra Pradesh during the year 2000-01. She is part of the founding family of Apollo Hospitals. Mr ParasuRaman R, Managing Director, Novar India Ltd, has been elected as Deputy Chairman. He has been closely associated with CII. He is the Chairman of CII Sohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre - Indian Green Building Council and Vice-Chairman, World Green Building Council. He was the Chairman of CII-Tamil Nadu during the year 2000-01. He is also a Member of Regional Advisory Committee of Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology, Chennai, according to a CII press release here on Monday.
