Treasurer's calendar

THE Aluva-based Federal Bank has released the Treasurer's calendar, possibly the first such venture by a bank in the country.

The Treasurer's calendar chronicles the major economic events in the domestic as well as the international markets and gives an insight to the prospective investors on how to deal with the various financial products available in the market.

Releasing the calendar at a function organised here, Mr K P Padmakumar, Chairman of Federal Bank, dwelt on the current trend in the investment scenario and said: "Timeliness of investments is the key to economic success."

the calendar by handing over a copy to Mr P S Thrivikraman, President of the All-Kerala Urban Bank Executive Officers Forum.

The calendar has major economic indicators on the domestic front such as interest payment dates of various Government securities and redemption details of securities, which are helpful to plan the possible inflow and outflow of funds in the market.
