UTI Bank to pick up stakes in two Shriram group cos

Chennai , April 19

UTI Bank and Shriram Chits & Investments (P) Ltd will pick up stakes in two companies of the Shriram group, Shriram Investments Ltd and Shriram Transport Finance Company Ltd.

The bank will be allotted 25 lakh shares in each of the companies, at a price of Rs 29.81 a share in Shriram Transport and Rs 29.36 a share in Shriram Investments.

Shriram Chits, a company of the same group, will be allotted 21 lakh shares in Shriram Transport and 19 lakh shares in Shriram Investments, for the same price as UTI Bank, according to a notification in the stock exchange.
