Hyundai hikes Accent GVS price

Our Bureau

New Delhi , April 19

HYUNDAI Motor India on Monday announced a price hike of two per cent on the Accent GVS with immediate effect.

The price hike, however, is confined to the GVS, which is the cheapest variant of the Accent.

The revised price of the Accent GVS now stands at Rs 5,82,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).

The company also said that it would soon increase the price of other Accent variants. Currently, five variants of the Accent are being offered.

Last week, Mr J.I. Kim, Managing Director of Hyundai Motor India, had indicated that the company would be increasing prices of the Accent due to higher prices of inputs, particularly steel.

The company is also expected to take a decision on reviewing the prices of its compact car, Santro Xing, by the end of the month.
