Our Bureau

KOCHI: The Kerala High Tension and Extra High Tension Industrial Electricity Consumers Association has welcomed the recent order of the State Electricity Regulatory Commission on the Annual Revenue Requirement (ARR) and Expected Revenue from Charges (ERC) for 2004-05 submitted by the KSEB for approval.

The Association President, Mr S. Jayathilakan in a statement said that the commission has come out with its order after detailed and impartial study of the proposals of the Board and discussions with all stakeholders and concerned officials.

The Association has made a detailed analytical study of the ARR and ERC and presented valuable points on the full day hearing arranged by the Commission. It is heartening to note that the points raised by the Association had considerably influenced the Commission in making its final order in the matter, he added.
