Chennai , April 21 GET ready and put your thinking caps on. The 2004 edition of the Business Line quiz, presented by the Union Bank of India, kicks off in Bangalore on Friday, April 23, with the Hyderabad and Chennai legs slated for April 30 and May 7, respectively. The grand finale, made up of the winners and runners-up in the city finals, will be held in Chennai on May 7 itself, after the end of the city finals. On offer is a grand prize of Rs 50,000, apart from a host of other prizes, both cash and kind. Those wishing to participate can contact Advertising Club Madras, Chennai, (Phone: 28141581, 28142250); Mr R. Sunil, Bangalore (Phone: 080-22864240); Mr B. Srinath Iyer, Hyderabad (Phone: 040-23417777/23403902). The preliminary rounds in Bangalore (at Gateway Hotel) and Hyderabad (Fortune Katriya Hotel) will start at 4.30 pm with the finals in these cities slotted for 5.30 pm. The Chennai leg, as well as the finals, will be held at Hotel Savera. The co-sponsors include Amco Batteries, ITC, Club Mahindra Holidays, Reynolds and Titan. Savera Hotels is the hospitality sponsor while the academic partner is Amity University. Canara Bank, GCC, Prestige, Aashirvaad, Mallya Hospital and Atria Hotel are the regional sponsors.
