SriLankan Cargo to double capacity at Colombo airport

New Delhi , April 21

IN an effort to make Colombo the cargo hub of the Indian Ocean, SriLankan Cargo will double its cargo handling capacity at the new cargo centre at Colombo's international airport next January.

In a statement, the airline has said that the second warehouse, which is currently under construction at the Bandaranaike International Airport, will double the centre's annual handling capacity from 150,000 tonnes currently, to 300,000 tonnes.
