PSU employee hits jackpot

BANGALORE: Persistence paid off and to a public sector employee from Bangalore, the jackpot of Rs 3.8 crore won by playing super Lotto online lottery came as a disbelief initially. Sardar-- that is the short name he is known by — has been playing the lottery game for the last five months trying his luck for a jackpot in the two leading online lottery schemes, Super Lottto and Thunderball.

Though delighted by the windfall, Sardar said it took some time to convince his family members about his winning the sweepstake. He is the second winner of jackpot from Karnataka. The earlier winner had raked in Rs 6.6 crore in November playing the Super Lotto.

Super Lotto is a popular online lottery game conducted by Playwin backed by entertainment company, Essel Group.
