Our Bureau

HYDERABAD: The State Gallery of Fine Arts run by the State Government has called for applications from children in the age group of 8-15 and youth for admission into `Greeshma Utsav - A summer of fun and learning'.

The 22-day camp, which would begin on May 1, would be conducted by eminent artists and professionals. The participants would be given training in areas such as puppetry, ikebana and folk dance. They would also be equipped with skills in several crafts such as candle making, pot painting, greeting card making and sticker making.

Besides, the camp would hold art appreciation classes, tours and picnics on weekends, the gallery said here in a press release.
