New Delhi , April 26

ISO 9001 postulates requirements for a quality management system where an organisation ought to demonstrate its ability to provide products that fulfil customer and applicable regulatory requirements and aims to enhance customer satisfaction. The licence was granted to DGFT after the mandatory audit conducted by an expert team of auditors from BIS, an official release said here on Monday.

The quality certification system to DGFT by BIS would serve to enhance transparency, accountability and customer satisfaction, the release said.
