Chennai , April 26

THE Parryware Division of EID, Parry (India) Ltd, has entered the Rs1,000-crore taps and fittings market to add value to its product range by offering complete bathroom solutions.

Mr G. Ramprasad, CEO, Parryware, said the company, which has 40 per cent share in the sanitary ware market, had come out with a range taps and fittings.

The company will source these from manufacturers in Delhi, Mr Ramprasad said.

The taps have been priced between Rs 3,000 and Rs 8,000 for a bathroom set. The taps will be marketed through its existing network of over 600 dealers and 3,500 retailers across the country. In the first phase, Parryware will focus on the four southern States and will expand nationally.

Mr K.E. Ranganathan, General Manager, Sales and Marketing, said the brand had been able to build customer loyalty mainly because of its products and 10 customer-care centres across the country.
