PNB Gilts net up 16 pc, to pay 25 pc

NEW DELHI: PNB Gilts Ltd has recorded a net profit of Rs 106.96 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2004, registering a 15.62 per cent rise over the net of Rs 92.51 crore in the previous year.

The pre-tax profit rose by 12 per cent from Rs 150.01 crore to Rs 168.65 crore.

The company has proposed a total dividend of 25 per cent for the fiscal, with 12 per cent interim dividend already paid to shareholders.

For the fourth quarter, it recorded a net profit of Rs 11.2 crore ( Rs 1.94 crore).
