Cigarettes Godfrey Phillips net up 37.3 pc Our Bureau
NEW DELHI: Godfrey Phillips India Limited (GPIL), the country's second largest cigarette manufacturer, has reported a net profit of Rs 52.04 crore for the year ended March 31, 2004. This represents a 37.3 per cent increase from the net profit of Rs 37.91 crore recorded in the same period the previous year. A statement issued by the company said sales for the period under review increased by 9.15 per cent to Rs 1,175.89 crore against sales of Rs 1,077.34 crore the previous year.
