ACQUISITION of Panex Consulting, an increase in net profit and a jump in total income is how the Pune-based KPIT Infosystems Ltd has completed the fiscal year 2003-04. It has also recorded a net profit of Rs 4.59 crore for the quarter ended March 2004, compared with Rs 2.57 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.

According to the audited results of the company, the total income during the quarter ended March 2004 touched Rs 37.41 crore (Rs 21.39 crore). Manufacturing vertical grew by 104 per cent while BFSI registered a growth of 52 per cent during the same period.
