Mangalore , April 28

CORPORATION Bank has launched a new product, `Corp Mobile Recharge,' enabling the customers of the bank to recharge their pre-paid mobile connections at any of the ATMs of the bank.

A few simple steps have to be followed for recharging the pre-paid mobile connections at the bank's ATMs. The customer has to choose "LIC Payment /Others" option from the main menu in the ATM. From the next screen he has to select "Mobile Recharge" and then enter his mobile number and the amount of recharge. The mobile connection will be recharged instantaneously by debiting to the customer's account. An SMS will also come from the mobile operator confirming the recharge.

Alternatively, the customer has an option to register himself for the SMS recharge facility at the ATM. Once he registers, he can recharge the phone whenever he wants, just by sending an SMS from his mobile to the service provider. The customer's mobile will be recharged instantaneously by debiting to his account. The customer can recharge for any amount between Rs 54 and Rs 5,000.

A bank release said here that Euronet is the technology partner for this service and will provide interface to all the mobile operators. At present, subscribers of Orange, Hutch, AirTel and Idea Cellular can avail themselves of this facility, the release added.
