Grasim's capex plan at Rs 534 cr

GRASIM'S capital expenditure plan for the next couple of years has been set at Rs 534 crore, with its capex for the current fiscal at Rs 410 crore.

In the current year, the allocation of capex would see the cement division getting Rs 159 crore. Of this, Rs 23 crore would go towards the setting up of power plants, Rs 41 crore towards debottlenecking, and Rs 113 crore for modernisation.

The VSF business would be get Rs 272 crore in capex during the current year, the chemicals business Rs 35 crore and other businesses Rs 50 crore.
