Software Polaris, plenum in pact to service German clients Our Bureau
Chennai , April 29 POLARIS Software Lab Ltd has announced a partnership with plenum AG, a Germany-based information technology IT consulting organisation, to jointly offer clients in Germany, Austria and Switzerland the `Offshore Management Solution portfolio.' Under the agreement, signed on Thursday in Germany, the companies will offer clients services such as information technology management consulting and offshore software development delivery, and banking product Orbi One. The coming together of plenum AG and the Chennai-based software firm leverages complementary strengths and offers prospective customers an integrated team that can provide end-to-end services and solutions, says a release from Polaris. Polaris will provide its offshore delivery processes and methods, offshore infrastructure and resources. plenum will complement this with IT management consulting, country-specific domain and regulatory knowledge. The model will provide the comfort of dealing with a German service provider with the cost and delivery efficiency of an Indian service provider, says the release. The release did not specify the likely revenue for Polaris from the agreement, and a company spokesperson said it was only the beginning, and it would not be possible to provide revenue forecast now.
