IMPAL Q4 net rises 64 pc

CHENNAI: India Motor Parts & Accessories has reported a 64 per cent increase in its net profit for the fourth quarter of 2003-04. Net profit increased to Rs 2.15 crore from Rs 1.31 crore in the same quarter of the previous year.

Net sales increased to Rs 48.55 crore from Rs 42.08 crore in the fourth quarter of last year.

In the full year ended the company, part of the TVS group, saw its sales rise to Rs 192.79 crore from Rs 179.75 crore in the previous year — an increase of 7 per cent. Net profit increased Rs 8.82 crore from Rs 8.20 crore previously.

Earnings per share was Rs 42.41 as against Rs 39.45 previously.
