SISI to conduct Entrepreneurship programme in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: The Small Industries Service Institute (SISI), Hyderabad, is organising a month-long Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) on "DTP & Screen Printing", from June 1-30 for the benefit of educated unemployed youth.

The SISI, an agency under the Small Industries Development Organisation (SIDO), Union Ministry of Small Scale Industries (SSI) has specially designed the course. It would provide training to educated unemployed youth to develop their skills and motivate them to set up self-employment ventures.

The training includes practical demonstration on DTP like computer fundamentals, windows, Adobe Page Maker, composing, and theoretical information on letter press, screen printing etc.

The course would be open to artisans and persons working in the industry. A fee of Rs 1,000 would be charged for the course and participants would be selected through interviews, according to a press release from SISI.
