Bajaj Auto sales rise

Mumbai, May 1

BAJAJ Auto Ltd has recorded a 27 per cent increase in motorcycle sales at 90,532 units in April 2003.

In the premium segment, the Pulsar twins recorded a sale of 23,511 units (15,771 units), a growth of 49 per cent. In the three-wheeler category, sales increased by 51 per cent in 2004 at 16,152 units.

Exports for the month stood at 16,838 units (10,527 units), up by 60 per cent.
