NetGuru, Malay varsity tie up

KOLKATA: Netguru India, the Indian arm of NetGuru Inc. of the US, has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Multimedia University of Malaysia for jointly undertaking training programmes in India and South Asian countries and also for engaging in research & development in the field of animation.

Talking to newspersons shortly after signing the MoU, Mr S. Bhanja, Chief Operating Officer of NetGuru India, said this was the first time that an Indian company had joined hands with a global animation major to jointly work in R&D in animation. To begin with, the partnership will offer a one-year Advanced Diploma Course in Creative Multimedia to interested students. Dr Ahmad Rafi Mohammed Eshaq, Dean of Creative Media of Multimedia University, Malaysia, the university was exclusively engaged in training students for the ICT (information, communications and telecom) space.
