FCI OEN Connectors PAT higher in Q1

KOCHI: The net profit of FCI OEN Connectors has grown by 54.21 per cent to Rs 3.56 crore (Rs 2.31 crore) during the first quarter of 2004. The profit before tax and depreciation also increased by 44 per cent to Rs 4.80 crore (Rs 3.31 crore).

Total sales have grown by 32 per cent to touch Rs 22.86 crore (Rs 17.24 crore), a press release issued here said. Exports is up by 89 per cent to Rs 11.06 crore (Rs 5.85 crore). Other income is also up sharply by 206 per cent to Rs 2.96 crore (Rs 97 lakh).

The company views 2004 with renewed optimism, the release said. With the introduction of new products like Metral 4000, Eyemax and Millipac, exports are also expected to grow in 2004.
