E-Mail Now e-mails can be recalled Pratap Ravindran
Pune , May 3 RECALL Mail Corporation's proprietary e-mail control technology is being hailed as the most exciting innovation since... e-mail. Quite simply, the technology called Bigstring allows the sender of e-mails to recall or erase them, have them viewed a preset number of times, or set an expiration date on them. The advantages to both business and private users are obvious, giving, for the first time, the senders complete control over potentially sensitive information. For example e-mails with incorrect prices, e-mails sent to the wrong person, e-mails with the wrong information, or without correct attachments can now be retrieved, corrected, updated and re-sent without the need for embarrassing phone calls or retractions. According to Recall Mail Corporation, its Bigstring technology will revolutionise the way that individuals and businesses communicate and utilise e-mail. "Time sensitive information and price quotes can be set to automatically self-destruct after a certain period, at a pre-requested time set by the sender. This is a compelling, and unique, advantage for companies that are offering special sales or discounts set for a specific period, and Bigstring allows the offer to expire automatically without it sitting in the recipients in-box for ever." "For dating services the ability to control the millions of e-mails and photographs sent by clients, and to eliminate the possibility of sensitive details finding their way onto the World Wide Web is indispensable. Think of the advantage a company will gain if they offer the service to clients. Protection of personal information is paramount to the users of these services." Recall Mail Corporation adds that while other companies have some ability for the recall of e-mails, none can offer the comprehensive cover of Bigstring. AOL and Microsoft Outlook. Bigstring it asserts, is the only e-mail service provider that allows the sender to recall, change or self-destruct any e-mail sent to any individual or company - whether in or out of the user's e-mail system.
