A customer examines a BSNL telephone card in Kochi. Kerala is the largest market for BSNL's prepaid cards as the State accounts for one-third of the card sale in the country. It is estimated that BSNL generated Rs 70 crore from its card sale in the State in 2003-04, as compared to Rs 34 crore the previous year.
