Real Estate & Construction Seminar on green building materials at Hyderabad Our Bureau
Hyderabad , May 4 THE CII-Sohrabji Green Business Centre is organising a two-day seminar on `Green building materials and equipment' beginning May 6 here. "We are holding the seminar to create awareness among entrepreneurs and other stakeholders on green building materials and business opportunities in this segment," Mr ParasuRaman R, Chairman, Indian Green Building Council, said here in a press release. The seminar would focus on green building materials, eco-friendly materials and equipment and energy-efficient equipment. Mr ParasuRaman, who is also Vice-Chairman of World Green Business Council, said the seminar would discuss topics such as `fly-ash blocks for energy efficiency', `green roofing', `high emissivity roofing material', `eco friendly adhesives and sealants', `wood from waste' and `recycled false ceiling materials'. "The seminar will be a good opportunity for consultants, architects, green product manufacturers, building consultants, contractors and corporate project managers," Mr ParasuRaman said. Leading manufacturers and experts on green products would attend the seminar to share their views. Mr R.K. Mehta, Chairman of Composite Centre International' would speak on `Composite products for green buildings, while Mr Sam Cherian, Managing Director of Mysore-based Schevaran Laboratories Private Ltd, would lecture on `Eco-friendly housekeeping chemicals'.
