VISAKHAPATNAM: The passenger ropeway at Kailasagiri was inaugurated on Tuesday by Mr S. Reheman, Chairman of the Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA).

He said that the ropeway would be a big draw at Kailasagiri, adding that several other tourism projects were in progress to make Vizag a hot tourist spot.

The circular railway project was also in progress at Kailasagiri and it would be completed later this year.

Mr D. Srinivasulu, Vice-Chairman of VUDA, said that the ropeway project, entrusted to the Kolkata-based Conveyor and Ropeway Services Pvt Ltd on BOT basis, had been completed on schedule.
