Children and terrorism

This is with reference to "Smoking guns: Helpless victims" (Business Line, May 5). It is time the dismembering party (LTTE) and the party in power thought about the plight of thousands of hapless and innocent children, who are caught unawares in this ebb. The initial step would be to identify such victims, and release them from the bondage of terrorism.

At the same time, it would well be enough to augment schools and play-schools, so that such a rebel cause does not become an obsession with them. Sensitive pockets can be identified to begin rehabilitating the children.
