SKS begins reefer box transhipment service

MUMBAI: SKS (Ship) Ltd, formerly known as Shahi Shipping Ltd, has commenced its reefer container transhipment service from JNPT to Mumbai Port through its feeder vessel, Royal India.

According to a press release, the vessel carried the reefer containers consisting perishable food items at set temperature of 3 degree Celsius, which was loaded at JNPT and discharged at MbPT two hours later.

With the commencement of this service, SKS (Ship) will offer its service between JNPT and Mumbai Port and vice-versa at the quickest transit time, the release added.
