Telecommunications Marketing - New Products & Services Flexible recharge from AirTel Our Bureau
NEW DELHI: Users of AirTel's pre-paid mobile service can now choose the validity period of their recharge coupon and extract higher calling value by opting for a lower term. A subscriber who purchased a recharge card worth Rs 324,under the previous scheme, got a fixed validity period of 30 days and a value of Rs 150. However, under the flexible recharge scheme, subscribers can get up to Rs 250 talk-time if they use up the entire recharge value in one day. Similarly, if they opt for a validity of five days, the calling value comes to Rs 235. In all, the subscriber has 10 choices for validity period instead of the fixed 30 days, a company executive said. "The scheme would benefit inbound travellers, who may have a larger talk-time requirement over a short duration. This scheme would address the needs of such customers," he added.
