MANGALORE: The Chairman and CEO of Karnataka Bank Ltd, Mr Ananthakrishna, has said that thorough knowledge of customers helps banks to assess their needs. This will go a long way in enhancing customer satisfaction and in curbing NPA menace in the banking industry.

Addressing the regional heads at the `Regional Review Conference' here on Wednesday, he said that regional heads should bridge the knowledge gap to reinforce their belief in customers.

According to a bank release here, the meeting reviewed the performance of eight regions for the quarter ended March 31.
