HLL opens Ayush centre in Mumbai

HINDUSTAN Lever Ltd (HLL) on Friday inaugurated its Ayush Therapy Centre in Mumbai, its 10th centre in 18 months, after having emerged successful in Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.

Mr Vipul Chawla, Business Manager, Consumer Healthcare, HLL, said: "With each centre making a breakeven in approximately 12 months, the company plans to continue with its expansion plans of launching 20 more centres in metros by the end of this year."

Ayush had roped in agencies such as Chlorphyll and Bates to promote the range of products, and will release a new set of commercials soon, Mr Chawla added.

Ayush is the umbrella under which HLL entered the ayurvedic healthcare market in association with the Arya Vaidya Pharmacy, Coimbatore.
