Portal content for IIM-B students

Our Bureau

HYDERABAD: ManageMentor.com, a portal that caters to business and management professionals, and IIM (Bangalore) have joined hands to facilitate the faculty and students of the latter to access the portal's content through intranet.

"A team of professors evaluated the portal and found that it is suitable for our students," said Dr Prakash Apte, Director of IIM-B.

In a release by the portal here, Dr Apte said the institute found the concept of bringing contemporary management ideas to the intranet interesting.

Mr T. Muralidharan, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and co-founder of C&K Management, said the content had been prepared keeping in mind the fact that adults (professionals) learnt things differently when compared to students or children. "They have very short attention span (a maximum of 10 minutes at a stretch) and are easily intimidated by knowledge," he said in the release.
