Vijayawada , May 7

TTK Prestige, the leading kitchen appliances company, has refurbished its product portfolio and is striving all the time to introduce customer-centric innovations, Mr Chandru Kalro, the senior Vice-President, Marketing, has said.

He was speaking here on Thursday after inaugurating the exclusive TTK Prestige showroom. He said the company had introduced a new range of pressure cookers during 2003-2004 with a pressure indicator. The feature had been introduced after extensive market research.

The cooker had also a silicon gasket, which would last the lifetime of the cooker. For the first time in the industry, the gasket carried a warranty of five years, he said.

The prestige deluxe pressure Handi, combining the positive features of a traditional handi with pressure cooking, had also been introduced. He said the purchasing power of Indian consumers had increased of late and the products were gaining acceptanc.

Mr Kalro said the showroom here was the third in the State and the twentieth in South India and the company would open 100 such outlets across the country.

He said the objective of the company was to offer all the kitchenware solutions to the customers under one roof. The company is planning to introduce India's first microprocessor-based multi-pressure cooker later this year.
