APSRTC staff to get arrears

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) management has issued notification on Friday ordering the payment of the balance 50 per cent of Leave Encashment Salary for the year 2003 to the eligible employees numbering about 70,000 on May 20, 2004.

According to a statement by Mr M. Nageswara Rao, General Secretary of the APSRTC Mazdoor Sangh, the Management also ordered payment of ex-gratia/bonus at the rate of 8.33 per cent for the year 2002-03 on May 20. The first instalment of the leave encashment of 50 per cent was paid on March 10, 2004.
