Cinema Jhankaar Beats bags award Our Bureau
Mumbai , May 7 PRITISH Nandy Communications' movie Jhankaar Beats has won the Special Jury Award for the Best Film at the Houston International Film Festival last week. "The Special Jury Award at Worldfest is one of the most prestigious awards at the festival and means that the jury liked Jhankaar Beats so much that the film was considered as the best of all features in the category chosen," a press release of the company said. Jhankaar Beats was directed by debutante director Sujoy Ghosh and starred Juhi Chawla, Sanjay Suri, Rinke Khanna, Rahul Bose, Shayan Munshi and Riya Sen. The music was composed by Vishal Shekhar.
