FIIs can buy Mahindra shares: RBI

Mumbai , May 7

THE Reserve Bank of India notified on Friday that foreign institutional investors could now purchase under portfolio investment scheme equity shares and convertible debentures of Mahindra & Mahindra through primary markets and stock exchanges up to 35 per cent of its paid-up capital.

M&M has passed a resolution to this effect at its general body meetings.
