Infosys bags Saudi bank deal

Our Bureau

BANGALORE: Infosys Technologies Ltd said on Monday that it has partnered with Arab National Bank, one of the ten commercial banks in Saudi Arabia. ANB will be implementing Infosys' universal banking solution, Finacle.

Under the terms of agreement, Finacle will provide a comprehensive solution to power ANB's Web-based initiatives in the space of corporate banking, retail banking and alerts, said an Infosys press release.

The ANB win reaffirms Infosys' strategic focus on the Middle East region as a whole, said the company chairman and chief mentor, Mr N.R. Narayana Murthy. ANB is the fifth banking client for Finacle in Saudi Arabia. Infosys has a business alliance partnership with Riyadh-based Wareef United for sales and support of Finacle in the Kingdom.
