UTI MF stake in Geometric crosses 5 pc

Mumbai , May 10

UTI Mutual Fund has acquired 8,000 shares representing 0.1468 per cent of the paid-up capital of Geometric Software Solutions company, UTI Asset Management company has told the stock exchanges.

The shareholding in UTI Mutual Fund after this acquisition is 2,73,129 shares representing 5.00115 per cent of the total paid-up capital of Geometric Software Solutions.

These shares were acquired through secondary market purchase on May 3, said the notice to the stock exchanges from UTI AMC.

Geometric Software Solutions has also made an announcement to the stock exchanges that Mr Manu Parpia, Managing Director of the company, sold 3,000 shares of the company on May 4 through "market sale".

The shareholding of Mr Parpia after this sale is 5,83,000 shares, amounting to 10.65 per cent of the voting rights of Geometric Software Solutions.
