Bajaj Allianz exclusives for Karnataka Bank customers

KARNATAKA Bank Ltd (KBL) and Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Ltd have decided to launch two co-branded over-the-counter insurance products covering health and home insurance sectors.

A bank release said here on Wednesday that the products, to be launched during the current financial year, are exclusive offerings for the bank's customers.

Karnataka Bank is marketing the insurance products of Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Ltd at 175 of its branches since December 2003.

A recent meeting of the steering committee, comprising the representatives of KBL and Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Ltd, unveiled the target for March 2005, the release said.

The Chairman and CEO of KBL, Mr Ananthakrishna, and the CEO of Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Ltd, Mr Kamesh Goyal, attended the meeting, the release added.
