Glass Asahi India Q4 net rises to Rs 20.28 cr; to pay 225 per cent Our Bureau
New Delhi , May 13 ASAHI India Glass Ltd (AIGL) has reported a net profit of Rs 20.28 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2004 as against Rs 5.90 crore in the same period previous year. Total income (net of excise) for the quarter ended March 31, 2004 stood at Rs 139.88 crore (Rs 58.60 crore). For the year-ended March 31, 2004, AIGL has registered a net profit of Rs 71.75 crore (Rs 37.67 crore) on a total income of Rs 504.70 crore (Rs 408.99 crore). The board of directors has recommended a dividend of Rs 2.25 (225 per cent) per equity share of Re 1 each for the financial year 2003-04. The board also approved the setting up of subsidiary company in architectural glass value chain.
