Seminar on biotech industry at Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Vivo Biotech Ltd, a listed company catering to services for biotech and pharmaceutical companies involved in genomics, is sponsoring a one-day seminar on carrier & growth prospects of biotech industry.

The event to be organised by the St Francis College for women would be held at the JNTU University Auditorium on May 16.

Among the experts who would share their views and experiences with students and researchers would be Dr K.V. Raghavan, former Director, Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT) and presently incharge of the Biotech Incubator, and Dr Abhijit Mitra, Coordinator, MSIT (Bioinformatics) Programme at the International Institute of Information Technology, according to a press release from the company.
