BoI thrust on home loans in coastal AP

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Visakhapatnam zone of Bank of India will take up a drive to increase its housing loan portfolio through the 45 branches in the coastal districts and special melas will be conducted for the purpose, Mr K. Subrahmanyam, Zonal Manager, has said.

At the conference of managers in the zone here on Friday, he said five branches had been specially chosen for the purpose. Further, the bank would set up ATMs at Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Kakinada and Tadepalligudem later this year. Mr M.S.I Kumar, Chief Manager, said all the branches would be computerised.
