HYDERABAD: Matrix Laboratories Ltd has informed the stock exchanges that shareholders had approved the issue of 11,25,000 equity shares each on preferential basis to India Newbridge Investments Ltd, an investment vehicle of Newbridge Capital, and Maxwell (Mauritius) Pvt Ltd, an investment vehicle of Temasek Holdings (Private) Ltd, at a price of Rs 1,500 per share, at the extraordinary general meeting of the company held on Saturday.

Though the shareholders had already approved the resolution, the company sought their fresh consent in view of the change in SEBI guidelines on the preferential offers.
