KOCHI: Both BPL Mobile and Escotel have made arrangements to announce SSLC and HSC results through SMS. The SSLC results are to be announced on May 17 and HSC results on May 18.

Announcing the service, Mr B. Ramakrishna, Chief Operating Officer of Escotel, said it would enable students to know their results easily and quickly.

Said Mr Suresh Kumar, Deputy Chief Operating Officer of BPL Mobile, Kerala: "The service was highly appreciated last year and we received an overwhelming response from our subscribers. We intend to do a lot more of such activities in future."
