Plea to create NRI Ministry

HYDERABAD: NON-Resident Indians (NRIs) belonging to Andhra Pradesh living the Gulf and other areas appealed to the new Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, to take steps to create a new ministry - NRI Ministry - in the new cabinet to be formed by him shortly.

In a press release here on Sunday, the Indian Doctors, Engineers, Architects and Accountants Society (IDEAS) said they sought new ministry for NRIs to cater to the needs of NRIs.
